John du Toit Motors opened their doors on 2 February 1987 trading in mostly new Nissan vehicles and Massey Ferguson tractors. During December 1987 the Massey Ferguson franchise was relinquish due to the severe drought that plagued the Western Transvaal during that period. During the 1990’s we were frequently nominated as best dealer for sales, parts and workshop which culminated in being selected National Dealer of the Year for both Nissan and Uno in 1996. Although we were again nominated for both franchises in 1997 we were only selected National Uno Dealer of the Year. Many other achievements for Sales and After Sales were awarded to us over the Years. The business continued to excel under the leadership of Marius to the extend that this dealership has now been selected Nissan Dealer of the Year, Service Dealer and NSSA Dealer (small) for 2004.
