The F90 BMW M5 is based on the G30 5 series and the first M5 to be all wheel drive, making use of BMW’s xDrive system. It was unveiled at Gamescom in August of 2017 to promote the release of Need for Speed Payback and was later shown at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2017. The Competition model was introduced in August of 2018.
The F90 BMW M5 produces 441kW at 5600 rpm with 750Nm of torque available at 1800 rpm, paired to BMW’s 8-speed ZF automatic transmition. The M5 Competition received a power increase to 460kW at 6000 rpm with the same amount of torque.
