The Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale is utterly gorgeous.

Even if you say you hate Alfa, you love them. It's the law. You have to love an Alfa and this one is no different. The new Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale is uniquely futuristic and only 33 are to be made (hence the name). It'll be powered by either a 3L, twin-turbo V6 making 620bhp (462kW) or as a BEV with three electric motors (probably) that will disperse an earth-moving 750bhp (559kW), Alfa being Italian they are a bit vague on the power figures but it won't be an Alfa if this wasn't the case. It uses a more refined version of the Giulia QF, which is one of the best Alfa engines out there.

It has a carbon fibre monocoque chassis and aluminium front and rear subframes. Other unique features are large top-hinged butterfly doors and in the rear, the V-sections draw attention to the centre of the car which showcases a carbon diffuser and, even more noticeable, are the rear lights which hold true to the signature cylindrical shape cutting into the body.

The interior is simple yet futuristic and they've stuck to the concept of keeping the steering wheel a steering wheel by avoiding unnecessary buttons, with mechanical switches and multi-media display screens providing the futuristic look and feel. There are two options for interior trims are as follows; Tributo uses leather and aluminium with two-tone biscuit leather and slate, which is also used in the seats, dashboard, door panels and central tunnel and Alfa Corse is the more overtly sporting option, with a preponderance of carbon fibre and Alcantara.

With a panoramic roof, it also provides an authentic aviation inspiration derived from the original. The price for all the Alfaness? Well, pricing is speculated to start at a world-owing R35 million.
