Audi is offering buyers the chance to extend the warranty on their cars to 15 years or 300 000 kilometres and this can be done at any time before the original warranty expires.

All new Audi vehicles come with the Audi Freeway Plan (AFP), a service and maintenance package that covers five years or 100 000 kilometres. The extension offers long-term Audi owners the assurance scheduled maintenance needs will be managed for the extended period.

"As vehicles age, they typically require more maintenance, which can increase ownership costs and place additional financial strain on consumers. The Audi Freeway Plan Extension provides long-term vehicle owners with peace of mind, as they won't have to worry about the costs associated with servicing and maintaining their vehicles," says Sascha Sauer, head of Audi South Africa.

For Audi vehicles whose Freeway Plan has expired, Audi South Africa offers the Value Service package. This option covers vehicles between six to 13 years old with mileage below 270 000 kilometres.

The Audi Value Service package is a short-term contract that includes two oil change services over two years or 30 000 kilometers. It also provides comprehensive roadside assistance and ensures the use of Audi Genuine Parts.
